| Description | He received his Ph.D. in Physics from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 1995, completing a study on temporal processes in quantum mechanics. His research interests center on the foundations of physical theories, with particular emphasis on quantum mechanics, quantum cognition, and the study of consciousness through approaches he describes as self-research. He is currently a research fellow at the Centre Leo Apostel for Interdisciplinary Studies (CLEA) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in Belgium. In addition, he serves as director of the Laboratorio di Autoricerca di Base (LAB) in Switzerland and, until he was the editor of the journal AutoRicerca, which explores interdisciplinary perspectives on consciousness, science, and self-inquiry. |
